OwnYourStories Studios

An independent multimedia and experiential studio specializing in producing and editing podcasts, printed content and events  that tell stories about people's lived experiences. The Studio also designs and executes targeted marketing and promotion strategies via social media, leveraging audience analytics to drive increased brand visibility and engagement and measurable performance improvements.

Under the banner of OwnYourStories, I've developed, edited, produced  and hosted podcast series, pilots, and episodes for both prominent and independent media outlets, including Raedio, Audible, Religion of Sports, NPR, WNYC, Complex, Bucket of Eels, Dear Media, and Mainline News.

This work not only involves the production and narrative structuring itself but also developing comprehensive digital and marketing plans to ensure each series reaches its widest possible audience.

After all, crafting a compelling story is only half the battle; the other half is making sure people hear it, read it, see it and tell their friends.

Outside of OwnYourStories, I was an on-staff producer with Vox Media’s flagshup daily show, Today, Explained which is known for its direct but creative takes on the world’s more important stories. It is one the country’s most popular daily shows, with more than 4.5 million weekly listeners.
